Warranty Policy

Kelmwav LLC stands behind the quality of eligible lighting fixtures sold through kelmwav.com. Eligible products are covered by our 5-Year Limited Warranty, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions described below.

1. Warranty Period

Eligible Kelmwav lighting fixtures are covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty beginning on the original date of delivery.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser of eligible products purchased directly through kelmwav.com.

2. What This Warranty Covers

The 5-Year Limited Warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and workmanship that occur under normal residential use during the applicable warranty period.

Depending on the nature of the confirmed defect, Kelmwav LLC may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • Replacement parts
  • Repair assistance where appropriate
  • Replacement of the affected product
  • Another reasonable resolution based on the circumstances

The appropriate remedy will be determined after the warranty claim has been reviewed and approved.

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

  • Improper installation
  • Installation that does not comply with applicable electrical codes, local requirements, or installation instructions
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper handling
  • Unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair
  • Accidents or external damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic changes that occur through normal use
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning or maintenance
  • Damage caused by environmental conditions outside the intended use of the product
  • Damage occurring after delivery that is unrelated to a manufacturing or material defect

Natural variations in materials, finishes, color, texture, or appearance that are inherent to certain materials are not considered manufacturing defects.

4. Installation Requirements

Hardwired lighting fixtures should be installed by a qualified, licensed electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes, installation instructions, and local requirements.

Damage resulting from improper or unauthorized installation may not be covered under this Limited Warranty.

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us at info@kelmwav.com.

Please include the following information where applicable:

  • Your order number
  • The name of the affected product
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs or videos showing the affected area
  • Any other information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim

Our customer service team will review the information provided and may request additional documentation where reasonably necessary.

6. Warranty Resolution

If a warranty claim is approved, Kelmwav LLC will determine an appropriate resolution based on the nature of the confirmed issue.

Approved warranty remedies may include replacement parts, product replacement, repair assistance where appropriate, or another reasonable resolution.

Warranty claims are evaluated individually based on the product, condition, nature of the issue, and applicable warranty terms.

7. Shipping-Related Damage

Damage that is visible when your order is delivered should be reported to us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, so we can provide expedited assistance.

The 48-hour notification period for shipping-related damage does not replace or shorten your rights under our applicable 30-day Return & Refund Policy or this Limited Warranty.

8. Limitation of Warranty

This 5-Year Limited Warranty is provided in addition to any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is limited to the remedies described above and does not cover indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from improper installation, misuse, unauthorized modification, or circumstances outside the scope of this warranty.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to limit any rights, remedies, warranties, or protections that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection laws.
